Introducing the TECE Fellows | June 14, 2021

By team tece

Berlin and Boston, June 14, 2021 – The cohort of Transatlantic Exchange of Civic Educators (TECE) Fellows has been announced by the hosting organizations, the Arbeitskreis deutscher Bildungsstätten e.V. and the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University.

The Transatlantic Exchange of Civic Educators Fellowship brings together US-American and German civic education and engagement professionals active in non-formal, youth work, and out-of-school time capacities. Over the course of seven months, this core group of Fellows will come together for online seminars and in-person exchange activities in Germany and the U.S. This unique opportunity will enable them to learn from and with one another against the backdrop of unique regional and national contexts and across sectors.

The 22 selected Fellows were selected based on their interests and experience as well as their ability and motivation to implement learnings and develop transatlantic partnerships in their current professional roles. The group of selected TECE Fellows listed below reflects the broad diversity of sectors, organizations and individuals that play an important role in youth and young adult civic development.
